“As Legacy continues to experience a surge in enrollment schoolwide, the timing to acquire this new facility was ideal,” the release stated.
The former Starwood site contains 14 classrooms in addition to a library, a technology and robotics center, a music room, a gymnasium, a health clinic, a laundry room and a catering kitchen. Outside are secured playgrounds, a greenhouse and garden areas, according to Legacy.
A ribbon-cutting event in partnership with the Frisco Chamber of Commerce is being planned. Details are not yet available.

Correction: The new early learning campus will serve students in pre-K through junior kindergarten. Kindergarten students will continue to attend the school's south campus.
