Medical City Frisco was at the top of the leaderboard on a list of America's 250 Best Hospitals for 2023, according to a Medical City Frisco news release.

The list was compiled by Healthgrades, an online health care resource for users to conduct their own research on physicians and hospitals, according to Healthgrades’ website.

“We’re proud to recognize Medical City Frisco as one of America’s 250 Best Hospitals for 2023,” Healthgrades Chief Medical Officer Brad Bowman said in the news release.

Healthgrades also awarded the hospital other top rankings such as America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Critical Care, America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Stroke Care and more, according to Medical City Frisco’s Healthgrades page.

Medical City Frisco expanded its care in December by constructing a new $91 million patient tower, which added two floors and 36 patient beds to the hospital. The additional 118,500 square feet of space also came with large patient rooms and waiting areas as well as the potential to add another six floors in the future, according to the news release.

“We are honored to be among the 250 Best Hospitals in America for 2023,” Medical City Frisco CEO Patrick Rohan said in the news release. “Medical City Frisco’s physicians and colleagues are deserving of this recognition for consistently delivering exceptional care and upholding a high standard for clinical excellence.”

Medical City Frisco’s sister chapters Medical City Arlington, Medical City Denton, Medical City Fort Worth, Medical City McKinney and Medical City Plano were also on Healthgrades’ 250 best hospitals list.
