The following city facilities will be closed Jan. 1:
- City of Frisco offices at the George A. Purefoy Municipal Center
- Frisco Municipal Court
- Frisco Fire Safety Town
- Central Fire Administrative offices
- Frisco Public Library and connection at the Stonebriar Centre
- Environmental Collection Center
- Environmental Services
- Frisco Athletic Center (general facility)
- Frisco Discovery Center
- Frisco Heritage Center
- The Grove at Frisco Commons

All of the city facilities listed above will reopen Jan. 2, including the Environmental Collection Center and Environmental Services Offices. Drop-off at the collection center without an attendant present will be considered illegal dumping, according to the release.
The Frisco Public Library’s drive-thru book return, located behind the main building, will remain open all day Jan. 1.
What else?
There will be no curbside trash collection provided on New Year’s Day. Service will instead be delayed by one day, according to the release.
Regular curbside service will resume as normal Jan. 6. Residents can visit FriscoTexas.gov/Recycle for more information.
The city’s weekly yard trimming collections will also resume Jan. 2, according to the release.
