City parks on the east and west ends of Frisco are in the works, according to site plans recently submitted to the Frisco Planning & Zoning Commission.

The commission approved a site plan for a city park of over 3.9 acres near Eldorado Parkway and Coit Road at its Sept. 22 meeting.

The city of Frisco and GRBK Edgewood LLC have entered into a development agreement to revise the layout and amenities for the park space.

A request to extend the review period of another city park site plan was approved at the meeting as well. The park is expected to be over 3.1 acres on the south side of Town and Country Boulevard and east of Spring Creek Parkway.

The extension allows 30 days to allow for additional changes to be made to the plan before action is taken by the commission.
