The hotels will anchor The Hub, a 200,000-square-foot centerpiece to the development that will include dining, retail and entertainment venues. The AC Hotel, Residence Inn, Canopy by Hilton and Hyatt Place will total about 600 rooms.

On the northwest corner of the Dallas North Tollway and Warren Parkway, Frisco Station surrounds The Star development, which includes the Dallas Cowboys headquarters and The Ford Center at The Star, the multipurpose indoor stadium.

Groundbreaking of the AC Hotel, Residence Inn and Canopy by Hilton are expected to take place in January 2017 with the first openings in June 2018. Hyatt Place will break ground later in 2017.

Hillwood Properties, Rudman Partnership and VanTrust Real Estate are partnering to develop Frisco Station, which will include office space, corporate campuses and urban living units. VanTrust Real Estate announced plans last month to build a 228,000-square-foot, class A office building at Frisco Station.

“The hospitality campus is an essential component for making Frisco Station a premier North Texas destination,” Hillwood Properties President Mike Berry said. “With its strategic location as the anchor to ‘The Hub’ at Frisco Station, the hotel campus will drive foot traffic and fuel energy throughout the development by both overnight guests and meeting attendees.

Frisco Station is one of four mixed-use developments that make up Frisco's $5 Billion Mile. The other developments are The Star, The Gate and Wade Park.
