Frisco has announced that it is submitting a proposal to Amazon for its second headquarters.

In a video released by the city, Frisco Mayor Jeff Cheney said "Frisco is the perfect fit for HQ2."

The online shopping and technology giant announced it was searching for a second headquarters in early September. The company has asked cities to submit proposals, which are due by Oct. 19.
