Firefly Park announced three new tenants coming to the development.
Frenchie, Woodhouse Spa and Second Rodeo Brewing will join the previously announced Tyler’s coming to the 217-acre mixed-use development, according to an April 20 news release from Wilks Development, the developer behind the project.
For Frenchie and Second Rodeo, the Firefly locations will be their second in North Texas. The retailers are slated to open in fall 2027 alongside the first phase of development.
“With the addition of Second Rodeo, Frenchie and Woodhouse Spa, we are continuing to curate a vibrant and intentional experience in Frisco,” said Kyle Wilks, president and CEO of Wilks Development, in the news release. “Firefly Park will be a place people return to again and again—whether to dine, unwind, connect or explore.”
The details
The first phase of retail is 41% leased, which totals 46,000 square feet, with an additional 29% under letter of intent and lease agreements, according to the release.
Frenchie is owned by restaurateur Stephan Couseau and his partner Daniele Garcia. The business is known for its French-American dining that features croissants, crepes, quiches, steak frites and profiteroles.
“Firefly Park was an opportunity not to be missed. The vision of a high-end, family-oriented development in fast-growing Frisco checked all the boxes for our concept,” Courseau said in the release. “Frenchie is designed to be an easy yet elevated experience, typically found in major urban areas. As the demographic continues to evolve, Frisco calls for restaurants that meet that moment—without pretense or fuss. That’s what Frenchie is about.”
Woodhouse Spa is a luxury spa brand with more than 90 locations across 25 states, according to the release. Offerings include personalized spa treatments, advanced facials, full-body therapies, sleep-focused services and nail care.
Second Rodeo is a brewery and bar garden known for its laid-back atmosphere, free live music and approachable menu, according to the release.
Looking ahead
At buildout, Firefly Park will have 4 million square feet of Class A office space, 400,000 square feet of retail, dining and entertainment, 1,200 hotel rooms, 230 townhomes and 1,970 residential units.
The project will also feature a 45-acre park and open space with a chain of ponds, art walk, hike and bike trails and more.
