A new commercial center full of Indian food joints and shopping is coming to Frisco in mid-March. India Plaza, located at 14339 Eldorado Parkway, will have several cuisine offerings from both north and south India, including Swagath Biryani, Twist of Punjab and Rajula's Kitchen. The plaza will also contain Alanita Travel, which helps book low-cost tickets to India "and beyond"; a Farm2Cook halal meat shop; a gift shop; an India Bazaar grocery store; and more.

This comes as Frisco's Asian population booms: According to the data from the U.S. Census Bureau, Frisco's Asian population has more than doubled in the last five years from 22,198 to 52,169.
