Flower Mound town officials encourage people to sign up for emergency notifications on the heels of a severe storm that caused hail damage June 11.
Town officials stated in a news release on the website that the town had received “multiple reports of hail damage to several residents’ vehicles as well as multiple town emergency and nonemergency vehicles.” No injuries have been reported, town officials stated in the release.
People may sign up for the Town’s emergency notifications at www.flower-mound.com/emergencynotifications.
A closer look
There was minor damage reported to a few traffic signals in town, specifically at FM 1171 and Shiloh Road, but the signal is still operational, the release stated. On June 12, crews continued to check for damage to town facilities, but so far, no substantial damage has been found.
