As enrollment numbers in Argyle ISD continue to grow, district staff are planning for additional facilities and resources.

The Argyle ISD board of trustees approved a land purchase of 128 acres in Northlake for the district’s future growth Oct. 30, per a district news release.

The specifics

The land is located on the south side of Robson Ranch Road and northwest of Jane Ruestmann Elementary. It was purchased with 2025 bond funds and will serve as the future site of a secondary campus, the release states.

“We continue to plan strategically to accommodate the rapid growth in our community,” Superintendent Courtney Carpenter said in the news release. “Purchasing land allows us to prepare for future enrollment growth and continue providing the high-quality learning environments our families expect in Argyle ISD.”

Funding comes from Proposition A of the May 2025 voter-approved bond, which totaled $393.7 million, according to previous reporting.
