Construction for Los Caminos Modern Cocina has begun, according to a November news release from Realty Capital Management. It will become Lakeside’s 18th restaurant. Los Caminos will offer modern Mexican and coastal-influenced cuisine, such as wood-roasted oysters, lobster fajitas and fresh fish in addition to hand-cut steaks and moles, according to the release. It will also feature an extensive bar and patio space.

“The menu capitalizes on our executive chef’s experience,” restaurant operator Jeffrey Denmon said in the release. “He has been the head chef for large restaurants in culinary destinations like New York City, Las Vegas and the Bahamas.”

The restaurant will be open seven days a week for lunch, dinner, and brunch on Sundays.
