The planning and zoning commission unanimously approved a site plan for the coffee shop during its Oct. 13 meeting.
The gist
The site plan depicts a single-story drive-thru coffee shop totaling around 4,300 square feet, according to town documents. The second Marty B’s Coffee location is within Lakeside Crossing, which is along International Parkway near the intersection with Lakeside Parkway.
The coffee shop will have two drive-thru lanes that will be able to accommodate up to 22 cars, plus one additional stacking space beyond the pickup window, per town documents. The site also includes 16 on-site parking spaces and access to shared parking at Lakeside Crossing to meet the minimum requirement of 22 parking spots.
Additionally, two stop signs and additional improvements outlined in the lighting concept plan will be required to be completed prior to the issuance of a certificate of occupancy for the building, according to town documents.
What else
Flower Mound Town Council approved a rezoning request for the site to accommodate the coffee shop in December 2024. The second Marty B’s Coffee is expected to open next year, as previously reported by Community Impact.
The coffee shop serves hot and cold coffee beverages in addition to breakfast, lunch and dinner food items.
