Gideon Math and Reading Center started seeing students in Argyle for tutoring sessions in March.
The tutoring center helps students in grades K-12 with mathematics and English, owner Neha Mehrotra said. The school can aid students from any independent school district, including Denton ISD, Northwest ISD and Argyle ISD.
“We do a lot of one-on-one [sessions],” she said. “It’s a big focus for us because younger students tend to thrive in group settings and older ones tend to thrive in one-on-ones.”
There are programs for autistic children with either one-on-one tutoring or a small group setting, Mehrotra said.
