Assistant living service provider FirstLight Home Care opened for business in early February, a company representative said.

The company offers nonmedical in-home care to the elderly and people with disabilities. FirstLight operates three other Dallas-Fort Worth locations in Plano, Denton and Frisco. The Flower Mound location serves Lewisville, Carrollton, The Colony and the surrounding areas, according to the company website.
