Medical City Healthcare announced the purchase of 13 CommunityMed urgent care centers that will be part of CareNow Urgent Care, including a location in Bartonville, in a Feb. 2 news release.
Urgent care clinics offer healthcare services to treat non-emergent medical problems that can develop unexpectedly and require immediate attention, per the release.
As a result of this acquisition, CareNow will have more than 95 sites across Texas, per the release. In addition to Bartonville, the CareNow Urgent Care facilities will be located in Arlington, Crossroads, Haslet, Heath, Mansfield, Melissa, Midlothian, Princeton, Prosper and Wichita Falls.
