There’s a new veterinary facility in Flower Mound. Veterinary Emergency Group opened its doors to the public in early February.

Staff at the new facility will offer their services to people 24/7. The facility includes an isolation room for contagious pets, a cat ward and an exotics room for animals such as birds. Alecia Arnold, the nurse manager at the Flower Mound location, said this is the business’ sixth location in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

“We have an open concept floor plan where you get to stay with your pet throughout its treatment,” Arnold said. “You can be involved as little or as much as you’d like with the treatment of your kiddo and we really include our family members in the treatment process. That sets us apart from other hospitals.”
