A new apartment development will provide housing to Northlake residents in 2024.

The Jefferson Northlake development will be built at Hwy. 114 near Ashmore Lane and will have 360 units, said Aaron Douthit, vice president and area development partner with development company JPI, in an email.

A groundbreaking was held in August, and the first units should be available around spring 2024, Douthit said. The full completion of apartments is expected in fall 2024.

Douthit could not provide a price point on units yet.

“We will determine [prices] closer to opening based on current market conditions,” he said.
