French restaurant offers ladies night, food specials and marriages

Construction on SH 26 has affected a lot of businesses along Colleyville Boulevard, including Citrus Bistro Seafood Restaurant, owner Nanou Viriot said. "We have been affected, but what has helped us is that our customers love our service and food," she said. "When you look at Yelp and other reviews, we are rated five stars."

Viriot said during the past year the restaurant has added several specials to attract new customers to its fresh seafood dishes. From Monday through Thursday, a three-course lobster menu is available for $39.95, and a three-course early bird menu from 5 to 6 p.m. is offered for $29.95. The Sunday brunch, $25, at Citrus Bistro is different from most as it comes with endless mimosas. Viriot and co-owner Jean-Loup Schyns also added a ladies night every Wednesday from 4 p.m. to close offering 50 percent off all drinks at the bar. Schyns said the restaurant also caters to men with football special nights that include specials on wings, hamburgers and sandwiches.

Besides being one of few restaurants in the area that offers French cuisine, entertainment on the weekends and weekly special menus, Citrus Bistro can also be rented out as a wedding venue or for corporate events.
