What's happening?
Construction on Denton Prosperity Shopping Center is expected to begin in February and be completed by February 2027, according to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
The $5 million project will be constructed from the ground up and will have 33,000 square feet of retail space. Units already are being advertised as being available for lease, according to signage on the two lots.
The shopping center will be located next to the Buc-ee's on I-35 E and will be across the street from the Courtyard by Marriott hotel.
