Aimee Buckert launched The Bees Knees in March 2021 at Painted Tree Boutiques in Highland Village. After noticing a need for closer-to-home shopping options, she opened a second location in Argyle in May.

“I often found myself in need of a quick new top or gift, with not many local choices,” Buckert said in an email. “Being located above Salon 377 was a no-brainer. The owner, Shelby Black, and her fabulous stylists have been big [The Bees Knees] fans and supporters. Now they can offer their clients not only a fresh style, but a new look.”

The Bees Knees offers women's clothing, accessories, gifts and greeting cards.
