- 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM
Explore the timeless art of printmaking during Printmaking Studio Hours with artist Mary Hannigan.
In this small-group studio experience, Mary opens her printmaking studio to provide hands-on instruction using her professional printing press and tools. Whether you're completely new to printmaking or looking to expand your artistic skills, you'll receive personalized guidance in a welcoming and creative environment.
Printmaking is the process of transferring images from a carved, etched, or otherwise prepared surface—known as a matrix—onto paper, fabric, or other materials. Throughout the session, you'll gain a better understanding of the printmaking process while experimenting with techniques that can be incorporated into your own artistic practice.
Mary is happy to work one-on-one with beginners, help artists refine their skills, or collaborate on creative projects with students and fellow artists.
