College Station-based Layne's Chicken Fingers to open in Cypress

Layne's Chicken Fingers officials told Community Impact the fried chicken franchise has plans to expand with a new location in Cypress with Houston area entrepreneur Masroor Fatany.

Per a July 9 release, the new location plans to hold a grand opening on July 18 in which the first 50 guests will receive free Layne’s for a year.

Founded by Mike Layne in College Station in 1994, per the website, Layne's Chicken Fingers plans to expand its small town charm, iconic chicken fingers and secret sauce to the rest of the world.

The franchise has 50 locations operating or coming soon across the U.S., according to the website.

Layne's Chicken Fingers offers various chicken finger meals which include 3-5 chicken fingers served with crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast, a 22oz drink and its signature Layne’s sauce.

The eatery also offers several chicken sandwiches, wraps and shakes, per the website.
