After three years of virtually operating her own business, Jody Lane, owner of Bountiful Boards Charcuterie, opened a brick and mortar in Cypress. Bountiful Boards Charcuterie specializes in creating charcuterie boards and grazing tables. Aside from its charcuterie boards, the business hosts workshops that are expanding into unique experience-based classes that combine food, creativity and community, Lane said.
Captain Crab Cajun Seafood is a locally owned restaurant offering Louisiana-style seafood, according to a Facebook post from the business. Per the website, Captain Crab Cajun Seafood offers a menu of chicken wings, gumbo, etouffee, fried chicken and seafood baskets, po’boys, crawfish and crab legs.
The restaurant offers an authentic Chinese dining experience with options such as Sichuan beef, dry pot duck or the triple delight sampler platter featuring beef, chicken and shrimp, according to its website.

Kingwood Snack Bar opened in early May on Northpark Drive, store officials confirmed. The eatery offers a diverse menu of breakfast, lunch and dinner items, including an espresso bar, gelato, acai bowls, a full Mexican food menu, and a variety of snacks and American bites, according to the business's website.
JabChai is serving coffee, desserts and Thai-Chinese-inspired dishes, according to the website. The cafe describes itself as a relaxed dining spot with a cozy atmosphere and “innovative cuisine.” Its menu includes coffee, desserts and small bites, including items such as cheese rolls, curry noodles, porkballs and more, according to the menu. JabChai also offers online ordering, gift cards and a rewards program.
A decade after planting roots in The Woodlands and weathering everything from devastating floods to the upheaval of COVID-19, Houston-born seafood destination Truluck's Ocean's Best Seafood & Crab is charting its next chapter. The restaurant was recently renovated in The Woodlands, and a new location is planned to open this year in Town and Country, operating partner Chris Davis said.
