In early November, Cypress residents Luis Arango and Juliana Rodriguez took over ownership of the Nestle Tollhouse location at 25712 Hwy. 290, Ste. H, Cypress, near the Spring Cypress Road intersection. Arango said he has nearly 20 years of experience working with the franchise, where he started as a storefront employee in December 2000. The shop offers ice cream treats, smoothies, coffee drinks, and a bakery with cookies, brownies and cookie cakes, among other items.
