The Montgomery County Commissioners Court voted to approve a new $590,000 project during a Feb. 6 meeting aimed at bringing public Wi-Fi and fiber internet access to several parks and centers in the Magnolia area.
The breakdown
The new project is set to provide fiber internet and public Wi-Fi services at several county locations, including:
- Magnolia Annex
- Community Development Center
- Montgomery County-Magnolia Horse Arena
- Magnolia Little League Park
- Magnolia Youth Park
Fiber lines will be installed from the Magnolia Annex to the Precinct 2 traffic control and signal office and the Precinct 2 Recycling Center.
