Candidate filing for the May 7 general election closed Feb. 18, and one of two positions on the May 7 ballot is opposed for the Montgomery ISD board of trustees.
According to the Texas Secretary of State's office, early voting will take place April 25-May 3. The last day to register to vote in the election is April 7.
Board of trustees positions 6 and 7 are up for election in 2022, and Position 6 is uncontested with only incumbent Matt Fuller filing for re-election, according to the district. Fuller was elected to the board of trustees in 2019 and serves as president, according to district information.
