The guaranteed maximum price for Creekside Elementary and Phase 2 for Lake Creek High School was set to $51.8 million during a May 16 Montgomery ISD school board meeting.
Kris Lynn, Montgomery ISD assistant superintendent of finance and operations, said during the meeting the price for the district's seventh elementary school will be about $33.5 million. Lynn said this is $1.3 million under the project. The GMP for Phase 2 of Lake Creek High School—an extension to the building as well as new classroom spaces—was set to $18.4 million. Phase 2 will increase the capacity of the school to 2,500 students.
“I am thankful for the efforts and teamwork from everyone to get us to this point and get this bond program started on the right foot,” Lynn said.
