Razor Republic officially welcomed customers with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on June 28. The shop is owned and operated by a 20-year veteran of the hair industry, Brittany Parker.
What they offer
Parker said that Razor Republic is open seven days a week and offers a wide variety of services inclusive of all hair types and styles. These services include, but are not limited to:
- Beard trims and shaping
- Straight razor shaves
- Head shaves
- Scissor cuts
- Facial grooming
- Waxing services
Giving back
As part of the grand opening celebration, Razor Republic donated 50% of all proceeds to the Keep It In The Air Foundation, a charity that supports veterans and first responders facing PTSD, addiction, and other mental health challenges.
The shop will also be offering free back-to-school haircuts for local children as the school year begins. Parker said that their reasoning behind these charitable moves was that they “wanted to create more than a place to get a haircut, but a place for people to call home.”
“Our goal isn’t simply to cut hair—we want to become a positive part of this community for years to come,” Parker said.
