Threaded Lines, a quilt shop in Montgomery, is expanding its services for area quilters looking for some help or wanting to meet other hobbyists while learning a new technique.
The details
Owner Jennifer Armentrout opened Threaded Lines in 2018 and sells anything a quilter or sewer might need: fabrics, tools, patterns, sewing machines and hardware. The store specializes in “modern fabrics, bold color combinations, and projects that help quilters build confidence,” according to its website.
Now, Threaded Lines is expanding with several new services according to a news release from the store, including:
Longarm quilting for customers who want a completed quilt top professionally finished
Classes on quilting, bag making, sewing techniques and more
Sewing machine repairs
Scissor and knife sharpening for sewing, quilting and household cutting tools.
Custom T-shirt quilts
"We want Threaded Lines to be more than a place to buy fabric," owner Jennifer Armentrout said in a statement. "We want it to be a place where people can bring their projects, get the help and services they need, learn something new and connect with other creative people."
