Local Mexican restaurant Conroe Icehouse will be opening its doors in late October, according to general manager Justin Marshall.
What’s special about it?
Conroe Icehouse will operate alongside in-house and supplemental food trucks. The restaurant is also equipped with a full bar supplied with local beers and cocktails.
Marshall has said that he wants the icehouse to become a gathering place for the city he calls home.
“Conroe is home. We saw an opportunity to build a genuine gathering place for the community - family-friendly by day, and a bar and live music venue by night,” Marshall said.
While the official restaurant opening is in late October, there will also be a soft launch earlier in the month.
