The developers of The Independent, which will be Austin's tallest building when it opens in 2018, have released new interior renderings of its 370 condominium units. Construction of the 58-story building began in January. According to The Independent's website, the project is 20 percent complete. A project spokesperson said 55 percent of the residential units are under contract, and only a few one-bedroom residences remain. Floor plans range from one- to four-bedroom arrangements and span 756 to 3,065 square feet.
