ELM Restaurant Group, the team behind downtown Austin’s Easy Tiger Bake Shop & Beer Garden, Irene’s and 24 Diner, announced in December it has partnered with the city of Austin to open Cookbook, a restaurant and bar concept in September within the city’s New Central Library at 710 W. Cesar Chavez St., Austin. With a cookbook and literary theme, the counter-service eatery will have a market feel, offer a variety of styles and incorporate organic and farm-to-table components whenever possible.
