Porter Ale House & Gastropub, which served burgers, beer and other classic pub food at 3715 S. First St., Ste. A, Austin, closed July 27. Co-owners Neil Joiner, Joe Bixel and Trevor Lane opened the restaurant in 2014. The owners posted the closure announcement on Facebook, adding they have "other projects in the works."
