Pollo Tropical announced Monday the planned closures of 30 restaurants in Texas and Tennessee, including a location in Austin at 211 S. Lamar Blvd., Austin. Pollo Tropical's parent company, Fiesta Restaurant Group, also owns Taco Cabana. In a prepared statement, Fiesta Restaurant Group CEO Richard Stockinger said some of the stores may be reopened in the future as Taco Cabana restaurants. www.pollotropical.com
