Crampt, an on-demand storage company founded by local entrepreneur Kevin Knebel, opened Jan. 1. The office is based at 401 Lavaca St., Austin, and its storage facility is located in North Austin. The company provides free industrial-strength crates to customers, digitally photographs and barcodes everything headed to storage and covers the initial pickup of items that will be stored.
