Biden's Austin stop is part of a series of conversations about newsworthy topics as well as Biden's political career highlights and challenges. Biden last visited Austin in March during South by Southwest Conference & Festivals. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. July 28 and include a copy of his forthcoming memoir "Promise Me, Dad: A Year of Hope, Hardship, and Purpose." The book comes out Nov. 14. The 19-city American Promise Tour kicks off Nov. 13 in New York.
