The historic Barton Springs Bathhouse turned 70 on May 11. Located adjacent to Barton Springs Pool at 2201 Barton Springs Road, the bathhouse was built by Dan Driscoll in 1947 and is a city of Austin- and state-designated Historic Landmark. The Barton Springs Conservancy plans to rehabilitate the building by restoring the rotunda and dressing areas, as well as making the facilities usable for modern needs. 512-934-7079. www.bartonspringsconservancy.org
