Dirty Martin's, a campus staple since 1926, is expanding its restaurant at 2808 Guadalupe St. The greasy spoon expects renovations to be complete by Oct. 20.

The addition includes 10 flat-screen televisions, a stage for live music and large picnic tables to accommodate groups and private events. Dirty Martin's started as a drive-in called Martin's Kum-Bak after owner Johh Martin. Its staples have remained the same: cheeseburgers, fries and milkshakes. But since the '50s, it has been known as Dirty's, even though the dirt floor has since been replaced. www.dirtymartins.com
