The Austin Parks Foundation, located at 507 Calles St., Ste. 116, Austin, celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. The nonprofit facilitates public-private partnership that preserve parks, trails and open space in Austin and Travis County. Since 1992, the foundation has helped maintain the city’s more than 300 green spaces through volunteer days, capital improvement projects and new programming. It is hosting its annual Party for the Parks on Oct. 4 at Brazos Hall at 6:30 p.m. Food will be provided by Juliet Italian Kitchen, Kemuri Tatsu-Ya and Launderette.
