North Austin ramen spot Sazan Ramen opened a new sister restaurant called Daiboku in West Campus on May 17. The restaurant—located at 609 W. 29th St., Austin—offers both counter service and an omakase-style menu.
What’s on the menu?
The ramen menu features smoked chicken shoyu ramen with mushrooms, scallions and nori, and spicy miso ramen with pork shoulder, Chinese leeks, habanero lime slaw, chili oil and butter.
Daikboku also serves an omakase-style ramen menu at the 10-seat ramen bar. The omakase includes five courses with two ramen offerings and three other seasonally inspired dishes.
