Cookbook Bar & Cafe, a counter-service restaurant located on the ground floor of the Central Library in downtown Austin, opened Thursday. Chef Drew Curren of ELM Restaurant Group helms the eatery, whose seasonal menu draws inspiration from the cookbooks in the Austin Public Library collection. Cookbook serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. Beverages include literary cocktails such as a mimosa option called Infinite Zest and a bramble called The Adventures of Huckleberry Gin.
