Uncle Billy’s Brewery has acquired the Pedernales Brewing Company’s craft beer brands. Fredericksburg-based Pedernales was founded by Lee Hereford in 2012 and features beers rooted in the German style as well as the “Robert Earl Keen Honey Pils.” According to Uncle Billy’s managing partner Bob Leggett, the Pedernales beers will be brewed at the Celis Brewery in North Austin, along with the rest of the Uncle Billy’s beers. Pedernales head brewer John West has joined the Celis Brewery team and will ensure the beers are made with the same focus on quality.
