Tiny Grocer owner Steph Steele announced that Tiny Grocer on South Congress Avenue will be closing, and moving operations to a new location off East Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in fall 2026, replacing the former Longhorn Meat Market, according to previous Community Impact reporting.
Steele announced the upcoming closure in an Instagram post in July. The store’s official closing date is Aug. 23, Tiny Grocer employee Daniel Mendoza said.

“It’s a connector, being on that street,” Steele said. “Not only do you meet amazing local people, you make an acquaintance with really amazing people traveling from all over.”
