The group behind Burnet Road's Taco Flats has announced its new East Austin cantina concept La Holly, which will hold a soft opening Wednesday through Thursday. Taco Flats owner Simon Madera purchased Tejano bar Kellee's Place, 2500 E. Sixth St., Austin, and has turned it into a bar that will serve agave-based cocktails such as tequila, mezcal, sotol, raicilla and bacanora. La Holly will also offer a local tap selection as well as canned and bottled beer. On Wednesday, Feb. 14, and Thursday, Feb. 15, the cantina will be open from 5 p.m.-midnight. Normal hours, which start Friday, Feb. 16, will be noon-11 p.m. Wednesday and Thursdays, noon-midnight Friday and Saturdays and noon-9 p.m. on Sundays. www.cantinaholly.com
