Sap Apisaksiri, owner of both locations of Sap’s Fine Thai Cuisine, purchased Krua Urban Thai at 2024 S. Lamar Blvd., Austin, which recently closed after fewer than six months in business. Apisaksiri plans to reopen the restaurant in mid-May under the name Krua Urban Thai, although the name will change in the next few months to Super Thai Cuisine.
