Home insurance startup Hippo opened an Austin office Feb. 15 at 522 Congress Ave., Ste. 500, Austin. Hippo, which was founded in 2015, sells home and condo policies that are owned and covered by large insurance partners. The company relies on big data to provides quotes and assess risks. It recently raised $25 million in Series B funding and is licensed to operate in Arizona, California, Pennsylvania and Texas. www.myhippo.com
