There’s something for everyone this weekend in the Austin area, including a kids summer block party at the Austin Public Library, an annual maker fest in Pflugerville and Round Rock’s Pride Festival. Here are six events for locals to attend from June 5-7.

Fish Fry Dinner & Silent Auction
Hosted by the Williamson County A&M Foundation, the 31st annual event will raise funds for the foundation’s scholarship program.
Old Town Street Festival
The annual event will kick off with a 5K race through the heart of Old Town, down through the streets of Leander. Participants will receive a race T-shirt and a finisher medal. Other activities include live music from the Bellamy Brothers, Boot Rock Boys and Steph Cash, as well as a local vendor market.
Kids Block Party
Austin Central Library will host a summer kickoff event for kids of all ages with story times, music, crafts and outdoor activities.
FREE Community Clothing Swap
For those looking to refresh their wardrobes, Girl Guitar is hosting a free clothing swap. Participants are invited to bring clothing, shoes and accessories. The event will
also have a mending station for alterations and quick projects, courtesy of Laurel Goods.
11th Annual Maker Pfest
The Pflugerville Public Library will host its annual event dedicated to local makers and artisans, who provide demonstrations and offer hands-on learning activities. Staff will demonstrate how to use the library’s laser cutter and 3D printer, while guests can try activities such as screen printing, bookbinding and other crafts.
2026 Round Rock Pride Festival
The annual event features live entertainment, artists, food, vendors and community booths showcasing the spirit of equality. The pride festival will take place in downtown Round Rock.
