57th annual Western Days
Elgin’s three-day annual homecoming celebration will include a pageant, golf tournament, pub crawl, parade, vendors, live music and family activities.
Dance for Adults with Disabilities
Adults with disabilities are invited to join city of San Marcos staff in a dance party that includes DJ music, door prizes and more.
Pride Night
Austin Pickle Ranch rounding out Pride month with a community pickleball social. The Pride Night is in collaboration with Stonewall Sports Austin and will feature two hours of open play, beginner-friendly spaces and a free drink.
Dive-In Movie Night
The city of Kyle will host a poolside family-friendly film at the James Adkins Pool. Locals can expect a showing of the 2021 animated movie “Luca.”
Walk with a Doc
Williamson County and Cities Health District is hosting a free event to connect healthcare workers with locals. The event will be centered around men’s health, inviting community members to ask questions and explore healthy habits. The walk will be indoors and participants are encouraged to bring water and wear walking shoes.
Pride Picnic
Pease Park Conservancy is collaborating with Future Front Texas to celebrate Pride with its fifth annual picnic. Visitors can enjoy crafts, live DJ sets, over 30 pop-up booths from small businesses and more.
Leander Loop
The first-ever Leander Loop is bringing local businesses together for a summer shopping experience across the city. Visitors can explore participating shops, enjoy local food and drinks, and support small businesses while checking in at each stop for giveaways, perks and prizes. Participating businesses include Lioness Books, Casa Costa Bake Shop, Wildfire Artisans, Obsidian Brewery, Leander Nutrition and Turquoise Peacock Boutique.
Plein Air Exhibition
The Hays County Arts Alliance—which is made up of Inspired Minds Art Center, the Dripping Springs Art League, the San Marcos Art League and the Wimberley Art League—will open its inaugural Plein Art Exhibition. The exhibition brings together plein-air paintings created this spring at locations throughout Hays County that feature water. Those attending the exhibition will find paintings from local artists completed at locations such as Garison Memorial Park along Onion Creek, Blue Hole Regional Park in Wimberley, Madrone Springs Ranch in Dripping Springs and the Meadow Center for Water and the Environment in San Marcos. A public reception will be held on June 27 from 3-6 p.m.
