Metro Drive in Leander’s transit-oriented development district will be extended to Mel Mathis Boulevard, connecting the Leander Park & Ride Rail Station to the future Austin Community College campus and Toll 183A. The project will cost $4.5 million, funded by the city’s general obligation bonds approved in May 2016. It will go to bid in March. Timeline: Construction begins late April
