PDQ Restaurants announced Oct. 1 plans to open its first Central Texas location in Cedar Park by early November.
The restaurant, whose name stands for People Dedicated to Quality, serves menu items such as chicken tenders, salads, sandwiches and hand-spun milkshakes. The fast-casual restaurant is being constructed at 2920 Lakeline Blvd., Cedar Park, just north of Lakeline Mall near US 183.
"We are dedicated to food quality and to making PDQ a wonderful experience for all of our South Texas customers," Tim Madonna, market director of PDQ South Texas, said in a statement. "Our prime Cedar Park location provides Austin foodies, business people, families and students a fun, flavorful and fresh lunch to dinner experience."
The 4,300-square-foot Cedar Park location will feature an outdoor patio as well as counter and table seating accommodating up to 130 diners. Menu items served for lunch and dinner cost less than $10 each.
